Steven Silverberg is a Trial Attorney with experience in many areas of law including but not limited to: high stakes commercial litigation, real estate transactions and litigation, and insurance disputes. He was born and raised in Maryland, right outside of Washington D.C. Mr. Silverberg attended college at the University of Maryland where he represented his school on the lacrosse field and in the classroom. After graduation from the University of Maryland, Mr. Silverberg made his way for warmer pastures and “took his talents to South Beach” where he attended St. Thomas University School of Law.
While at St. Thomas University School of Law Mr. Silverberg was involved in many organizations including: Staff Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review, Active Learning Instructor for Property I and II, Mock Trial Team, Cuban American Student Bar Association, and Research Assistant for Professor John Makdisi. During Mr. Silverberg’s first year he received many honors including the Book Awards for the highest grade in his class for Property II, Contracts II, and Civil Procedure I. While in law school, Mr. Silverberg obtained a certificate in taxation. Mr. Silverberg graduated 4th in his class out of 200 with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude.
Mr. Silverberg has represented business and individuals in trial and appellate courts all over the State of Florida including but not limited to: the 2nd District Court of Appeal, the 3rd District Court of Appeal, and the 4th District Court of Appeal and many Federal Courts.
